Hello Reader, Being an entrepreneur is a calling, not just a job. It requires resilience and the ability to make things work. You start with a small idea and grow it into something beyond your imagination. It is that simple. Or not. Because as much as you own the idea, you need to support it to grow. One key way to support your growing idea is to involve others and delegate some of the work to them, especially if, like me, you have a 9-5 job on the side. One of the things I learned in my 9-to-5 job is the power of delegation, and I now use this skill daily in my entrepreneurial journey. Delegation is one of the most crucial skills you must master as a startup founder. Without it, you risk micromanaging your startup and being bogged down by day-to-day distractions. It will limit your growth, and you will become your startup’s bottleneck. Let me share how I use delegation to build a coaching business while maintaining a demanding 9-to-5 job: My primary focus in my coaching startup is on high-leverage activities: developing the vision, strategizing, creating content, recording videos, and engaging with people. These activities have the highest return on my time investment. I delegate everything else to my team members. Here’s my routine:
During the day, my team plays a crucial role in operations. My team consists of:
They are responsible for disseminating content across various platforms and engaging with others to influence platform algorithms. Here’s what each team member does:
Delegating my work has allowed me to grow my startup while ensuring my 9-to-5 job remains unaffected. Handing over work to someone else isn’t easy and can be daunting. But it brings incredible rewards. It allows you to tackle bigger initiatives, build your team, and achieve things you couldn’t accomplish alone. How do you use delegation in your startup or side hustle? Reply to this email and share your experiences with me. Your friend, |

Hello Reader, Last week, Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong made headlines. He gave engineers 7 days to learn and start using AI coding assistants. Those who didn’t? Fired. Hello Reader, Ten months ago, I started coding again. It felt overwhelming. Too many frameworks, too many errors, too much setup. So I did what I always do. I experimented.
